Juliana Korver
-Juliana Korver
Juliana Korver: "I started playing disc golf my senior year in college. A friend of mine was into it and kept trying to get me to the course. I resisted for months thinking it didn't sound like much fun. I disliked (ball) golf and I wasn't particularly good at throwing a Frisbee, so I never expected to be any good at disc golf. He finally convinced me to try it. I can remember how much improvement I saw in my game from the beginning of that first round to the end of it. It was very encouraging. I also remember how nice everyone was at the course. This was....

-Mark Steddom 2007
Actually, I was two shots back after the second round and was knocked off the lead card.  That got me really motivated to shoot well and come back and go into the lead.  I met Greg Brooks at Am World Doubles earlier this year.  He’s got all the shots.  I felt he was a better player than me but he had a couple bad holes that did him in.  Greg just wasn’t on his game in the semi’s.  If I remember correctly, we were pretty close the whole round.  Then, after I took a 4 on #15, I thought, “I’ve got to bare down and finish these last six holes strong.”
