We have added the following Des Moines IA. area courses: Big Creek State Park, Ewing, Grandview, as well as Pickard. | The 2011 Iowa Team Championships were held today and the Des Moines(1) team came out the winners. This great tournament is open to any town that wants to put a team together and compete against teams from around the state. This years event included teams from Des Moines (two teams), Cedar Falls/ Waterloo, Quad Cities, Ames, Cedar Rapids, and a team from Norther Iowa. Players are ranked and compete against players from the other teams with the same rankings, and total wins are counted to complete the team scores. Final standings for this years tourney were: Des Moines(1) 5-0-1, Cedar Falls/ Waterloo 5-1, Des Moines(2) 4-1-1, Quad Cities 3-3, Ames 2-4, Cedar Rapids 1-5, Northern Iowa 0-6. Next years tourney will be hosted by the winners, Des Moines. |
